In the near future, earth has been saved from absolute destruction by a well-meaning alien race known as the midaki. The asteroid that was sure to hit our planet was placed at L5 and hollowed out for colonization. Over time, Ohmani has been developed as a mandatory port of customs between planet earth and space with intergalactic travel now a reality.
Twenty-two years later, Levi Avondale and his single mother and spitfire grandmother are being relocated from the ground to Ohmani after a devastating murder of a family friend. Levi must leave his small-town life in the California waves to make a new one in this fast-paced and progressive city in the void known to many as 'The Las Vegas of Space.'
Soon after arriving in their new home, the book explodes! The reader experiences the journey through the struggling eyes of Levi as he is bombarded with chaos - Murders, bombs, aliens, political unrest, robots, and other-worldly technologies. The learning curve is incredibly high, but his family's life depends on him solving the mystery of violence that seems to follow the Avondale's wherever they go.
